Hello, I am Rs_Shorey (german) one of the headadmins of the Red Squadron clan. Thanks for doing such great stuff for this little community. We really appreciate that.
We have that problem with that group of cheaters from Sardinia. All having 78.15.xxxx ip. How can we use the firewall bann. Is that implemented in the RSC Client? Or do we need a special programm?

if you wanna add a Firewallban you need RemoteDesktopConnection to the Root Server!
Its an Windows Function!
First of all you need to create the "Surface" for it...

i know only 1 different to "To Block Additional IP Addresses".
its when you add the Subnetmask you dont insert the Subnetmask with 255.255.0.0 or something like that...
you MUST insert the IP to "Special IP-Adress or Subnetmask" or something like that + /16 for example
"/16" is a CIDR Code.

if your surface is allready created you only need to open mmc and go to your created
security policy and click add and make it again and again and again

the most players got this Subnetmask : 255.255.0.0
so if your Player got this IP and have this Subnetmask you insert:
78.15.0.0/16

To know what Subnetmask the Player use, use RSC with Whois Function and you see the Range of his IP.
